עם צער עמוק אנחנו מודיעים שב-6 ביוני 2015 עצר להפעיל את לבו של יורי ארייביץ' פטחוב, בעלנו היקר, אבינו, דודנו, סבאנו ואחינו.

(Yukhai ben Freho) Yuri Arievich was born and raised in Kokand. Being the eldest son in a large family of Ari Fatakhov and Freho Zaurova, he took on the responsibilities of the family head from an early age during the difficult post-war times. Yuri Arievich possessed natural wisdom and a strong work ethic. He knew how to earn a living and value family values. To his entire extended family of brothers, sisters, children, nephews, and sons-in-law, he was a true FATHER.

His contribution to our noble and closely-knit family cannot be overstated. He instilled in our entire family the highest human qualities of love and respect for relatives and close ones, reverence for traditions and religious values, living honorably and honestly, being content with what you have, and being proud and self-sufficient. He was never afraid to walk through life with his head held high and to be both reserved and compassionate.

He possessed all of these qualities to the fullest extent. Yuri Arievich lived a long and beautiful life, always surrounded by the care of his children and beloved wives, Ekaterina Khiyaevna and Zinaida Ilyinichna, each of whom he lived with for over 30 years.

Wherever he lived, whether in Kokand, Tashkent, San Diego, or New York, he was always highly respected and held in authority by everyone who interacted with him and everyone who knew him.
